Okay, okay, not quite yet… still a couple of days untill we disembark but it’s close. And I am so looking forward to it!

Back to work

As I blogged yesterday I’ve gone back to work. If anything this is a therapy thing as much as earning a living.

A powder blue Prius!

Well, okay, not powder blue as they don’t actually sell that color to anyone else then Jeff Dunham. But I did order a Toyota Prius as my new company car.

When I posted last week that the palsy had hit (again) I searched around on all kinds of websites. Every single one of them stating a different time for recovery from 3 weeks up to about half a year and beyond. Well, guess what; my frown is coming back already!

And when you think you’ve had it all….

So last week I was feeling a little under the weather. Not really all that bad, just a little headache, a little coughing, you know how it is…
Saturday my mouth felt like it was burned from eating something too hot. Nothing strange, but looking back it was the first symptoms.
Monday I called in sick to work. Pain in my lower jaw. Checking the internet it said something about the facial nerves and something started to dawn on me. I’ve been through this before, some 25 years ago….

Wine?

I read an article on champagne yesterday in our national consumers magazine. They had selected a number of different bottles of bubbly wine (half of them champagne, half of them bubbly wines with the same process but from a different region) then did a tasting with a panel of 42 (I think) “average customers” and 8 (or so) “specialists”. It got me thinking….
